Week 15 Picks: Tebow Time?

People Will be Tebowing All Across America Today.
But After They See The Patriots, Will it Continue?
Uhh.
Hell Nah.

Week 15, sunday edition, is here at last. I have had trouble sleeping these past few nights knowing that the battle between QB gods was only a few days away. Will Tebow Time continue? Will Brady's arm be too much to overcome in the 4th quarter? Who Knows. But what I do know is this: my picks are so hot that not even Cowboys coach Jason Garrett could ice me.

Miami vs. @Buffalo (pick)
Did the Bills really beat the Patriots this year? Were the Bills really once 5-2? Yes to both of those and a No to a victory today for the Bills.
Pick: Miami

@Chicago vs. Seattle (+3.5)
The Seattle Seahawks are sneaky good. Beastmode. Skittles. Yada yada. I forsee an outright victory as long as they contain Hester on special teams. Tavaris Jackson FTW!
Pick: Seattle(+3.5)

Tennessee vs. @Indianapolis (+6.5)
funny.
Pick: Tennessee(-6.5)

Green Bay vs. @Kansas City (+14)
Always tough laying 14 points on the road. However, KC has no QB and have failed to compete in the past several weeks. Blowout losses against the Patriots and Jets in recent weeks point to a slaughter.
Pick: Green Bay(-14)

Cincinnati vs. @St. Louis (+6)
Cincinnati needs a victory to stay in playoff contention. Sam Bradford is out. The Bengals have a solid rush D, which should prevent Jackson from carrying the Rams to victory. I like the Bengals for a touchdown victory.
Pick: Cincinnati(-6)

Greg's Gurantee
New Orleans vs. @Minnesota(+7)
One thing to note here. Minnesota is laying claim to the league's 27th ranked pass defense. New Orleans has the best passing offense in the league. AND THEY ARE ONLY A TOUCHDOWN FAVORITE!?!?!?!
Pick: NOLA(-7)

@New Jersey Football Giants of The Meadowlands vs. Washington(+7)
DO the NJFGTM stink it up like you know they do when they should easily win? Everything points to a Giants victory, especially given the dismal season by the skins. However, Washington went toe to toe with the mighty Patriots offense last week and that gives the gamblers a cause for concern. It is going to be a chilly one in Jersey. The ingredients are here for a Meadowlands Meltdown: but it is going to be too cold to formulate. The skins have no motivation.
Pick: Giants(-7)

@Houston vs. Carolina(+6.5)
If Carolina was given 7 I would be all over it. However, Houston's defense is sneaky good. 3rd in pass defense and 4th in run defense. There is no way you knew that. When it comes down to it Houston is gonna make the stops and Cam Newton doesn't play D.
Pick: Texans(-6.5)

Detroit vs. @Oakland(+1)
Must win game for both teams. Both are not known to step up when needed to. A tie here would be poetic justice. Yet, these are far to uncommon. I think the absence of Oakland's rushing attack in recent games gives the edge to the Lions.
Pick: Mo.Town(-1)

Brady vs. @Tebow(+6.5)
No way the Patriots don't win this game. No way the don't win by more than 7. Poor line here. Take advantage. Brady is gonna look to pad the lead well in the advance of the tebow quarter (4th).
Pick: Patriots(-6.5)

@Philadelphia vs. New Jersey Jets(+3)
oooooohlala: Rex Ryan an underdog against the eagles. Didn't take too long for the Philly support to rise up once again. But seriously have we seen this before or have we seen this before? Philly is not that great of a football team and the Jets play their best ball when they are counted out.
Pick: NYJ(+3)

@Arizona vs. Cleveland(+7)
McCoy is out for the Browns. The Cardinals are one of the hottest teams in the league and are at home. Playoff bound?
Pick: Zonaaa(-7)

Baltimore vs. @SandyEggo(+2.5)
Baltimore is going west. This is always a difficult trip for any east coast team, especially with a late game. West coast teams are 54-28 in Monday Night games, and while I recognize that this is a Sunday Night game this statistic that can't be overlooked. Chargers are gaining a little momentum. Look for them to squeeze it out. This is a dicey pick, I would undoubtedly recommend it if it was a plus 3.
Pick: San Diego(+2.5)

Saturday Night F00tball

Saturday NIght Football is Back! So Am I!
Phew, I didn't know what to do with out another Saturday of no football. Last week was a killer after the college slate ended.
So here we are Mid-December.
Must Win for the 'boys.
What A Stage!
What a Matchup!
Tampa is coming off 7 straight L's . . .
Couldn't ask for more. Well, except for a missed field goal by Dallas to end the game.

Dallas sits here as a 7 point road favorite. Tampa has the 27th ranked pass defense with a cute 28th rush defense to match. Listen, Romo will have the passing game in hands. Tampa will struggle, especially if they fail to win any significant battles in the special teams game. I would say this has the classic Romolapse waiting to happen late in the 4th quarter, especially given the must win scenario. However, Tamap Bay has done nothing imppressive with the ball in the past few weeks and I do not for see a dominant performance from the Tampa O.

Dallas vs. @Tampa Bay (+7)

The Pick: Dallas

While you are too bored waiting around for Sunday's games to start take a listen to Rich Eisen's Podcast. I will have a profile later this week. As well as picks tomorrow.

Week 13 Picks: Thursday Edition

Been quite some time since VY had a celebration.
I forsee a boogydown. Tonight.
The Emerald City will turn Philly Green.

Just had to throw it you. I am jumping back into the football pick'em for the remainder of the year.

Thursday Nights Tilt has the taste of a regurgitated turkey. yeah it is that bad.

Seattle v. Philly. No pun on the stinky birds.

But you got to have the pick.

I like Philadelphia (-3) here. Yeah that got their a$$ handed to them vs. THE patriots, but I expect them to be able to squeeze by pete carrol and the 12th man tonight.

rest of the picks and more posts this weekend.

Week 9 Pick$

Where Are Herman Cain's Eyebrows?
Beats Me.
But My NFL picks are right HERE!

Hello November Football!

So much promise with a new month and a half of the NFL season remaining. Will Tebowing become the new planking? (come timmy I'm rooting for ya) Will the Packers lose a game? Can the Patriots stop the pass? Who's SuckforLuck campaign will last another week?

Beats me, but what I do know is that my picks for week 9 are so delicious that you may mistake them for thanksgiving dinner.

here we go.

@Kansas City vs. Miami (+4)
I am shocked that Vegas is only dropping a 4 spot for the fins. Is blowing a big lead to the New Jersey Football Giants really warrant praise? I sure don't think so. Look to see the int. happy Chiefs D have a pickoff party, hosted by Matt Moore of course. Oh Andrew Luck. . . where art thou?

The Pick: Kansas City

@Buffalo vs. New Jersey Jets (+2)
The Jets, 0-3 on the road this year. The Bills, 4-0 at home and coming of a SHUTOUT. Yeah thats right the Bills even play a little D. Funny as the Jets have been sttrugglin' to find the endzone with out the help of their defense. The Bills have a flashy aerial attack.

The Pick: Buffalo

Atlanta vs. @Indianapolis (+7)
funny.

The Pick: Atlanta

Green Bay vs. @San Diego (+5.5)
I don't know if it is because I have the gift wrapper (Phil Rivers) and Vince Jackson on my fantasy team. But for some reason I always have some high hopes for these chargers. And ironically I think they are presently charging for this bout against the reigning champs. Will they win out right? that might be a stretch but they might be field goal shy, closer than the experts think.

The Pick: San Diego

@Dallas vs. Seattle (+11.5) . . . The Pick: Dallas

@New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay (+8) . . . The Pick: New Orleans

San Francisco vs. @Washington (+3.5) . . . The Pick: San Francisco

@Houston vs. Cleveland (+11) . . . The Pick: Houston

@Tennessee vs. Cincinnati (+3) . . . The Pick: Cincinnati

@Oakland vs. Denver (+8) . . tebow . . The Pick: Oakland

@New England vs. New Jersey Football Giants (+9) . . . The Pick: NJFG

@Pittsburgh vs Baltimore (+3) . . put your money on this one . . The Pick: Pittsburgh

@Philadelphia vs. Chicago (+7.5) . . . The Pick: Philadelphia

play on players.

For those who can't hold a conversation on sundays, per usual, download the B.S. Report before the Sunday Sun rises. Follow my lead. And go out with a bang on this first November Weekend.

Week 8 Picks!

Week 8! Week 8! Week 8! The half way point of the NFL season is almost here and here at PODworld we have got you covered like Darelle Revis on Practice Squad receiver.

I give you The B.S. Report once again. The best spot for all your unique sports news. Bill Simmons breaks down the lines for this weeks NFL games with pal Cousin Sal and Mike Tollin. The B.S. Report: Week 8

And I also give you my week 8 picks! A Bona fide lock to make you rich.

Peep my picks. Place your bets. Make $.

Tennessee vs. Indianapolis +8.5

Tennessee looked so weak last week. A nice dose of the Manningless Colts is the cure to any losing streak.

The Pick:Tennessee

New Orleans vs. @St. Louis +13.5

If only David Freese could quarterback the Rams . . .

The Pick:New Orleans

@New York Giants vs. Miami +10

The leader in the clubhouse for the Suck for Luck movement: The Miami Dolphins. No wins this year. As they rumble into the meadowlands Vegas spots them 10 points. But the New York Football (i hate when people call them this) Giants are coming off a bye. A late TD will put Miami to bed.

The Pick: NYG

@Carolina vs. Minnesota +3.5
I Love Cam, but i think the surrounding talent on Minnesota is too, well, talented. This one is close but Minnesota covers.

The Pick: Minnesota

@Baltimore vs. Arizona +13

Way to many big lines this week and after B'more's miserable monday night performance I have a difficult time putting my faith in the Ravens.

The Pick: Arizona

@Houston vs. Jacksonville +9.5

Jacksonville has a sneaky good D. Houston's D is weak. The Jags lose but cover.

The Pick: Jacksonville

@Buffalo vs. Washington +6

Buffalo will take this one by at least a touchdown.

The Pick: Toronto Bills (LOL)

Detroit vs. @Denver +3

TEBOW! yeah right.

The Pick: Detroit

New England vs. @Pittsburgh +3

Brady owns Pittsburgh.

The Pick: New England

@San Francisco vs. Cleveland +8.5

A stingy San Fran D propels the 9ers to a V.

The Pick: San Francisco

Cincinnati vs. @Seattle +3

I have little insight on this affair. . .12th man picks up the W for the hawks.

The Pick: Seattle

@Philadelphia vs. Dallas +3.5

Dallas is the most complete team in the NFC east and it will show in this one.

The Pick: Dallas

San Diego vs. @Kansas City +3.5

San Diego is too talented to lose this one.

The Pick San Deigo

Thank Me Later.

Football Fans. Sports Fans. Gather Round. . . Well I mean at least open up your itunes and subscribe to the BS report. Bill Simmons, the host, walks you through the latest in all of sports by bringing on a bevy of guests who open up on this show unlike anywhere else. Simply put there is no where else where you can feel as if the CEO of Ticketmaster, NBA General Managers and athletes are whispering sweet nothings into your ear. Heck even David Stern the Commissioner of the NBA and now part-time plantation owner (That ones on you Bryant Gumbel) has been on the show. WHERE ELSE ARE YOU GONNA FIND THAT?!?! You download and the man just drenches you with unique sports knowledge. get wet.

- In this week's podcast Simmons and Cousin Sal, a frequent guest, break down what they think the Vegas Lines will be for the upcoming Weekend of NFL. They make one of these every week of the NFL season. I couldn't help but make my own picks, maybe I will do one of these each week to get a nice flow going. Here are my picks, forget the brokers, screw wall st., getting a job is too tough, thus follow me to millions.

@ Cleveland vs Seattle +3
Seahawks have won two of three. Lost a tight one to ATL, Beat the Giants on the road. Coming off a bye week. They are getting three points. And playing the browns . . . bing, bang, boom.

THE PICK: Seattle

@ Detroit vs. Atlanta +3.5
Tough one. Detroit is coming off their 1st loss. ATL has been confusing all year. I expect a rebound for MEGAtron and co.

THE PICK: Detroit

@ Tennessee vs. Houston +3
Who though these two teams would be battling for the AFC South crown? . . .

THE PICK: Tennessee

@ Miami vs. Denver +3
Two thoughts. Miami has no wins. Tim Tebow is the man.

THE PICK: Denver
San Diego vs. @ New York Jets +2
The Jets need this one bad. Really Bad. Does Sexy Rexy Pull through? HELL NO. Daygo by a field goal.

THE PICK: San Diego

Chicago vs. @ Tampa Bay +1
Tampa loses by 45 one week. Then beats the Saints the following week. Toss up as the game is in London.

THE PICK: Chicago

@ Carolina vs. Washington +2.5
Is the Cam Newton train running out of steam? The skins are staring John Beck. Yikes. Somehow Washington has managed to win a handful of games this year, but with Beck at QB i am just unsure.

THE PICK: Cam Newton.. err..Carolina

@ Oakland vs. Kansas City +3.5

THE PICK: Oakland (Greg's Guarantee)

Pittsburgh vs. @ Arizona +3.5
Pittsburgh has gotta have some heart here, only a 3.5 favorite against the lowly cards.

THE PICK: Pittsburgh

@ Dallas vs. St. Louis +13
I dislike these double digit lines. Dallas is good but Romo loves the drama. Dallas wins. But close.

THE PICK: St. Louis

Green Bay vs. @ Minnesota +8

THE PICK: Green Bay

@ New Orleans vs. Indianapolis +14
Yikes. Does INDY win a game this year?

THE PICK: New Orleans

Baltimore vs. @ Jacksonville +7.5
Not even going to be close.

THE PICK: Baltimore
